Welcome to the Prom’Aude days!#June 7 to 10

What is Prom Aude actually doing? Well, the Aude is celebrated in many ways: through music, gastronomy and crafts. The 1st day of the event is traditionally dedicated to young people, and this year the department’s schoolchildren will once again be able to take advantage of this superb gathering. A fun-filled, educational day where young visitors can try out typical local sports, discover little-known arts and crafts, meet farm animals, and learn more about Occitan culture and everything that goes with it, from dance to gastronomy. A day of sharing and exchange that will leave this new generation with many happy memories! But above all, Prom’Aude is an intergenerational event not to be missed during your camping holiday in the Aude.

Meet the producers of the Aude… and enjoy their products!

You won’t be able to resist the many local products of the Pays Cathare. From local honeys and onion preserves to syrups and charcuterie from the event’s partner producers, there’s plenty to immerse you in a gastronomic culture that is particularly demanding when it comes to the quality of its products. Of course, you’ll find local wines such as Minervois or Corbières, as well as craft beers created by passionate brewers. It’s an opportunity to exchange ideas on winemaking techniques, enjoy blind tastings of refined wines and share the convivial moments that are the hallmark of this fair, which attracts over 40,000 visitors.

Take part in Prom Aude activities and events

But Prom’Aude isn’t just about gastronomy, and there are plenty of activities on offer throughout the days, which stretch into the evening. Younger visitors can enjoy donkey or pony rides, or try their hand at angling. This major regional event will also feature theatrical performances, local brass bands and musicians, and a variety of workshops (from carpentry to electricity). In the meantime, the fair has mastered the art of suspense, and will continue to unveil its detailed program of events over the coming days on the official Prom’Aude !
